Amy is an award-winning writer and editor covering the environment, health, technology, and culture for a variety of national publications, including The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, and Popular Science. She also reports for various NPR member stations and shows, host two podcasts (Range podcast and Tell Me About Your Mother) and produces several more through Critical Frequency, the podcast network she co-founded with Maya Francis. In fall 2018, her book, Forget Having It All: How America ruined motherhood—and how to fix it will be published by Seal Press, an imprint of the Hachette Book Group. The book examines our cultural notions of motherhood, how they impact all women, whether or not they decide to have kids, and what we can do to improve matters.
