The Crucible offers a variety of classes in wood, metals, electronics, welding, (18 departments in total).  Classes are not formal training for the trades, but have proven to be great introductions for folks who have gone on to more formal training. They have 3-hour tasters, 16-hour weekend course, and a longer 5 week series of one night per week.
