Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream Holdings, Inc. is an American ice cream company, founded in 1928 in Oakland, California, where its present-day headquarters office remains. Dreyer's brand is sold in the Western United States and Texas, while Edy's brand is sold in the Eastern and Midwestern United States. In 2002, Dreyer's was acquired by Nestlé and in 2020, Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream joined Froneri, a fast-growth international ice cream business. Froneri operates in 23 countries with a team of 15,000 employees who are on a joint mission to build the world's best ice cream company.
