The Student Conservation Association (SCA), America’s #1 conservation service organization seeks qualified applicants to
lead, educate, and inspire students for the Greater Bay Area.

CREW LEADER DUTIES:
The Greater East Bay Conservation Crew Leaders will lead an 8 member High School Crew and work with local agencies to perform restoration work around the Greater East Bay, including in the City of Vallejo, The San Francisco National Wildlife Refuge, the City of Oakland, the City of San Leandro, CA State Parks, and East Bay Regional Parks District. SCA leaders will pick up and drop off members using SCA vehicles at a central East Bay location as needed. Work projects could include trail maintenance, habitat restoration, tree care/urban forestry, and more.

PROGRAM DATES:
June 12 - August 11, 2023
• Mandatory 10-day paid training at June start date, followed by working with High School Crews for 5 weeks in July. Last week set aside for reporting and evaluation.
