We've launched a new EV Infrastructure Project Management Training Course to help residents of Los Angeles prepare for and secure a job in the growing green economy! Project Management is a highly sought-after skill (profession) in the cleantech industry, and deploying electric infrastructure projects will be critical to the success of EV adoption and goods movement.

During this FREE six-week training, participants will, through hands-on training from LACI startups and industry leaders, acquire the technical skills and certifications to successfully manage EV-infrastructure projects and understand the phases of the electric vehicle supply equipment installation and timeline as it relates to Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) Maintenance Infrastructure deployment. Participants will receive a stipend and a laptop for use during training along with free professional development (i.e. interview prep) and job placement services (i.e. access to a job directory) to assist them in their transition into the green economy. LACI offers various resources to support program participants, such as financial assistance and reimbursement for travel costs to attend the Training Course.

Opportunities for career pathways that can be obtained from this Fellowship include Permit Specialist, Project Manager, Project Coordinator, and Executive Assistant.

Resources that are provided to program participants include:

-Internship Opportunity for select participants with a LACI Start-Up or Partner Organization

-Paid Stipend during the Training & Internship

-Transportation (i.e. gas reimbursement) & Technology Assistance (i.e. Laptop Rentals for Fellowship)

Criteria for participation in this program are that you must be:

-18 Years of Age or Older

-Have a High School Diploma or Equivalent

-Be an LA County Resident

-Low-Moderate Income

-Currently Under or Unemployed
