We seek an instructor who is passionate about students, pedagogy, and building community, and willing to be innovative to achieve these goals.
DESCRIPTION:
Applicants must have experience in one or more of the subjects within Drafting, Maker Space, and/or Advanced Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will also apply effective teaching methodologies and strategies, understand curriculum development, complete department reports, and collaborate with colleagues in related Career Technical Education (CTE) disciplines. Staying current with technology and active learning strategies in both the classroom and laboratory is expected. Classes may be offered at campus locations in Fairfield, Vacaville, Vallejo, and/or online; and may be scheduled during days, evenings, or weekends.
Candidates must meet the minimum qualifications for both educational and industry experience requirements set by the state of California.
