This internship program is designed to help students gain tangible and meaningful experience in marketing and communications in nonprofits or cultural institutions. The intern will work with Filoli’s Marketing team to help plan Filoli’s social media communications, design digital communications and advertising, and analyze the resulting data.
The goal for the Marketing & Social Media Intern is to leave the program with new skills and an introduction to the various aspects of marketing at a nonprofit. Upon completing the program, interns will have gained experience in: crafting compelling marketing communications and social media posts; tracking performance metrics for advertising and social media; event planning; media and influencer relations strategies; and using photo, video, and data management software (Altru and Blackbaud).
