CNC Machinist

Required Qualifications and job responsibilities

• Program, set up and machine using multi axis machining centers for a high-mix low-volume setting.

• Proficiency in both CAD and CAM software. Autodesk Fusion is preferred for CAM and training will be offered if needed.

• Ability to inspect own, and others work using precision inspection equipment such as micrometers, bore gauges, pin gauges, measuring microscopes, etc.

• Interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.

• Experience working with ±0.005mm (±0.0002") tolerances.

• Safe and proficient operation of manual machines.

• Order tools as required and maintain a clean shop.

• Perform preventative maintenance as needed.

• Mentor and supervise junior machinist/interns.
