Description (optional)

In collaboration with the Los Angeles World Cup 2026 Host Committee, the Annenberg Foundation is helping support and spread the word to artists all over Los Angeles County about a contest to design the official FIFA World Cup 26 host city poster.  Artists, designers and illustrators who are 18 and older and residents of Los Angeles County can submit posters representing Los Angeles as a premiere World Cup destination.

This once-in-a-generation competition is perfect for everyone who loves Los Angeles, soccer and art and design – or all of the above! In order to incentivize artists, designers and illustrators across Los Angeles County and encourage new and emerging artists, awards will be granted to a “final 16” contenders in the amount of $500 for the 12 semi finalists; $2,500 for the three finalists and $20,000 for the winner.

The contest runs Oct. 15 through Nov. 17.  You can help us get the word out by clicking here for social posts, an email, a newsletter insert and a poster to print.

The winning designs will be chosen by a panel of esteemed representatives from the Los Angeles arts community and FIFA will choose the winner which they will announce early in 2025. For more details on the competition, visit losangelesfwc26.com/poster-contest.
