Plastering Apprenticeship Program (Apprenticeship)

The Plasterers apprenticeship program is administered by the Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (JATC) with City College as the Lead Education Agency for San Francisco. The Plasterers Apprenticeship is approved by the State Division of Apprenticeship Standards to provide training in the plastering industry. During the course of the apprenticeship, apprentice plasterers will receive classroom and hands-on instruction. Apprentices will work toward becoming skilled journeypersons in the plastering trade. A journeyperson will be asked to perform various phases of plastering in both commercial and residential construction.

 

Starting Hourly Wage

Starting wage is $15.33 per hour.

 

Length of Apprenticeship Program

Completion of the program takes 48 months.

Classroom training is offered at the Northern California Plasterer’s JATC 39 South Linden Avenue, San Francisco CA 94080

Minimum Requirements

- Must be 18 years of age or older.

- Must have a high school diploma, G.E.D. certificate, or equivalent.

- Must provide a valid California Driver's License.
