The Internship program is designed to help students gain tangible and meaningful experience in developing and executing programs for visitors to museums and gardens. Upon completing the program, the Public Programs Intern will have gained experience in: researching and interacting with artists, vendors, and programming partners; event logistics; interacting with museum/garden visitors; communicating in formal business settings; creating positive experiences for volunteers and program participants. The intern will report to Filoli’s Programs & Partnerships Manager and collaborate with the other members of the Learning & Engagement Department, and the Facilities and Horticulture Departments.
