What we’re looking for:

You're a future web developer with experience in computer science fundamentals in the form of on-the-job experience, coursework, or online courses. And you enjoy sharing your personal portfolio from GitHub or other platforms.

You feel comfortable working in Python, Java, or C++. You're also a data sleuth who's curious about data structures and algorithms.

What you’ll experience:

Snap Engineering Academy Scholars living in the Southern CA region will receive an academy scholarship including transportation expenses to participate (in-person) at Snap offices in Santa Monica, CA.

✅ Eligible Candidates must be:
○ 18 years or older
○ Community College Students (or recent transfer student)
          AND/OR
○ Opportunity Youth (Foster Youth, Home-Insecure, Justice-Involved)
✅ Receive an academy scholarship to develop your design, engineering, marketing, communication, or augmented reality skills
✅ It’s a full-time commitment; Spend Monday - Friday, 9:30 am - 4:30 pm PT, learning from June 17, 2024 to August 15, 2024
✅ Snap Design, Engineering, and Storytelling Academies are held in-person in Santa Monica, CA, and Snap Lens Academy is held virtually via Zoom
✅ 15 Scholars will be selected for each academy
