Each year both faculty and students are selected to participate in various choreographic and performance festivals, competitions and events, such as the American College Dance Festival. Selection is based upon the quality of the performers and the choreography of the dance.

This Information Technology certificate introduces computers, networking, and cybersecurity skills and prepares students to enter the workforce as an entry-level information communications technologies professional (Computer User Support Specialist or Computer Network Support Specialist). The program is designed to meet the needs of students who want 1) to obtain entry level employment; 2) to advance in their current positions; or 3) to change careers. This program enables students to demonstrate specialization in areas such as computer technical support and networking. Successful completion of this program prepares students for the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Exam (CIM 182, 283) and Cisco CyberOps Certification Exam (CIM 284).

This program of study starts with the basics of computer hardware (building, maintaining, and upgrading PCs) and operating systems (Windows). It introduces computer networking including the fundamentals in small and large networks, including the Internet. It also includes an introduction to the Linux operating system which runs the vast majority of servers on the Internet. This is also the foundational series of classes that will lead to Associate Degrees in Information Technology. This certificate prepares students for the CompTIA A+, Linux+, and Network+ Certification Exams. Students who complete this certificate will be ready for an entry-level position in the industry and/or to undertake further study to advance to more specific industry training.

The Hospitality Management certificate offers comprehensive coursework that encompasses the diverse hospitality industry. Students will obtain skills in the operational and legal aspects of hospitality management and supervision, food and beverage operations, cost control, event and catering management, human resources, marketing, and support operations. Emphasis is on guest service strategies, ethical considerations, effective communication, critical thinking, leadership standards, and teamwork. The program combines classroom and laboratory instruction providing students with well‐rounded preparation in the hospitality industry. Students completing the program will be prepared for a career in the hospitality industry as entry‐level hotel, motel and restaurant managers, food and beverage managers, event, banquet and catering professionals, resort managers and human resource administrators. The coursework also provides the tools necessary for successful startup to those students wishing to open their own hospitality business.

Technology and international commerce have redefined business in a global context. The Global Business program prepares students for careers in international business and in industries that deal with international trade and global markets. The program focuses on the dynamics of international organization, environments, trade, language, socioeconomic and cultural forces, political and legal issues, import/export processes and regulations, and emerging global markets. Students will develop competencies in international logistics and supply chain management.
