The Business Department offers a transfer program, an A.S. Degree and a Certificate of Achievement. The Certificate of Achievement in Business Administration provides the foundation for students starting an entry-level career in business. This degree provides students with an understanding of basic business practices, including operations, methods, and purpose, and an introduction to the major functional areas within business. Courses specifically required for the major transfer core requirements must be evaluated by a letter grade, not by a pass (P).

Payroll Specialists require specific bookkeeping/accounting/ payroll training and current computer technology including word processing and spreadsheet programs. The Cloud Computing Certificate of Achievement is designed for people who are seeking employment with companies that use cloud computing. The program provides 16-18 units of instruction on the industry standard skills to understand and develop applications for the cloud. Students learn a range of topics that cover the technical principals of the hardware and software requirements to run systems in the cloud including storage, database management, and software systems, while maintaining secure access.

- Upon completion of the Certificate of Achievement in Cloud Computing, students are able to host a database and run queries using an interface from a commercial provider and run a file-server service using a provider of their choice.

The Pilates Instructor Certificate of Achievement requires the successful completion of course work, which includes 450 hours of hands-on instruction. This career technical education program focuses on teaching the Pilates method of exercise. Students are presented the skills for training clients in a group setting or one-on-one. Students are introduced to the historical origins of Pilates, contemporary styles of Pilates, and Pilates for special populations. The comprehensive program includes instruction in the mat exercise series along with training on the reformer, cadillac, stability chair, and arc barrels. Additional topics include fitness assessment, postural analysis, exercise technique, program design, behavioral coaching, and client relations.
