Sogetsu Ikebana is offered in cooperation with the Sogetsu Ikebana, Soho Study Group, Ikebana International, Japan Ministry of Education, The American Institute of Floral Designers, San Francisco Bay Area Master Florists Association and California State Florists Association.
This two-year course of study is designed to give students thorough and well-balanced training in buying flowers, and the art of arranging in the Sogetsu Style.
This curriculum satisfactorily qualifies individuals to teach Sogetsu Ikebana on a private level.
The course of study includes instruction in beginning, intermediate and advanced levels of the Sogetsu curriculum under the guidance of experienced instructors. Students who complete the curriculum and other graduation requirements receive the Environmental Horticure/ Floristry, Certificate of Accomplishment-Sogetsu and qualify the student to apply for a level 5 Sogetsu School Certificate.

Upon completion of this program, students will be able to:
