The Associate in Science in Business Administration for Transfer degree provides students with a comprehensive business education in the principles and practices of all phases of business. A student graduating with an Associate of Science degree in Business for Transfer will seamlessly transfer to a California State University (CSU) to complete a bachelor's degree. Completion of the requirements guarantees students the ability to transfer to a CSU school. Students will be able to pursue a baccalaureate degree and prepare to pursue a career in the field of business, industry, or government.

The Associate of Science degree in Business Administration enables students to transfer to a four-year institution leading to a baccalaureate degree. Career opportunities exist in many areas of business administration such as accounting, financial planning and analysis, financial service specialties, management, marketing and sales, production and logistics, and systems and technology development.

In addition to the general education requirements, the associate degree in manufacturing technology, conventional machining, is designed to prepare the student for entry or advancement in the conventional machine tool operation specialty.

In addition to the general education requirements, the associate degree curriculum in manufacturing technology numerical control programmer A (Mastercam) is designed to prepare the student for entry or advancement in the CNC programming specialty of the machine tool field.

In addition to the general education requirements, the associate degree curriculum in manufacturing technology computer numerical control machine setup and operation is designed to prepare the student for entry or advancement in the CNC Machine Operator Specialty of manufacturing technology.

The Associate of Science degree in Biotechnology is designed for students who wish to obtain the skills required to gain employment in industries influenced by biotechnology as well as for incumbent workers seeking career opportunities. Upon completion of this program, students will be eligible to obtain employment as laboratory assistants, biomanufacturing technicians, or research and development technicians. This degree can help prepare for transfer to the Biomanufacturing B.S. degree at Mira Costa or Solano Community Colleges. The Associate of Science degree in Biology prepares students for transfer to a four-year institution leading to a baccalaureate degree in biology or disciplines such as microbiology, botany, zoology, and careers in teaching, medicine and health sciences.

The Associate of Science degree in Astronomy provides a foundation in astronomy and physics for students planning to transfer into a baccalaureate program in astronomy, astrophysics or astronomy education leading to a career in astronomy and/or physics research, education, or technology and programming.
