The Application for LACI's Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) Technician Fellowship is now live! Applications are due Sunday, May 7 at 8pm.

The market for EVs is rapidly growing and so too is the demand for equipment technicians. To keep pace with this high-demand field, LACI is offering a FREE, eight-week training, to 40 Los Angeles Residents, ages 18-24. These participants will receive hands-on training from LACI startup and industry leader ChargerHelp! They will acquire the technical skills and certifications to perform the maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electric vehicle supply equipment, and learn about safety processes and procedures - regardless of experience!
Opportunities for career pathways that can be obtained from this Fellowship include Customer Service Representative, Field Service Dispatch Assistant, or EVSE Project Coordinator. These jobs offer strong wages, benefits and opportunities for advancement.
While attending training, participants also enjoy benefits such as paid stipends, the use of a laptop, and reimbursement for transportation. LACI also offers free professional development and job placement services to help place them in paid internships and secure their dream green job!

Applications are now open and will close on May 7 at 8pm. The Fellowship kick-off will take place on Monday, May 15, and the first day of technical training will begin Monday, May 22.
