The Digital Storytelling Pre-Apprenticeship is a program where we host a cohort of fifteen students ages 18-24, residents of Los Angeles County with low-income in our 160-hour+ immersive program that offers accepted students a full tuition scholarship valued at $10,000. Additionally, participants will receive a cash stipend of $3600 for successful participation and will be certified in Adobe Premiere Pro and given a certificate by Venice Arts. The program will equip students with the necessary skills to compete in Venice Arts' network of paid internships and job placements.

This program is a part-time commitment that runs from Tuesday - Thursday from 10 AM - 5 PM except for a few workshops and events on Mondays.

As a fellow student of The Digital Storytelling Pre-Apprenticeship - this program has enhanced my creative abilities in filmmaking, editing, and storytelling all while jump-starting my career through various internships, job opportunities, and more!
