Tech Workforce Immersion is a rigorous program where competency-based learning is applied through classroom training and on-the-job experience. Ultimately, each student will obtain industry-recognized certification in their specific career pathway. Our integrated approach begins with a rigorous pre-apprenticeship and corporate probation period. Those that reside outside Silicon Valley may choose to complete the first month of the pre-apprenticeship remotely because it is mostly pre-assessment, career planning, soft skills and corporate readiness training. The second month MUST be started and completed on-site due to the hand-holding required. It starts with job shadowing of Silicon Valley experts. It involves lots of hands-on learning from the experts as well. By the third month, the On the Job Training (OJT) starts rolling in as a formative process that requires continuous assessment, communication, coaching, and mentoring of the participants at each point in the skills development cycle
