You are encouraged to pursue this certificate if you plan to apply to transfer to the California State University system and want to complete and have certified the CSU General Education Breadth Requirements. You will select courses that fulfill the CSU General Education Breadth Requirements (completing at least 30 units with a “C” or better to include areas A-1, A-2, A-3 and B-3 and an overall GPA of 2.0), for a total of 39 transferable semester units.
