The Interior Design Assistant Certificate provides the student with broad knowledge of the interior design profession and careers therein. Entry level skills will be acquired to serve as an assistant to a commercial or residential interior designer, or merchandising in a retail setting. This certificate lays the foundation for acquiring the Associate of Science Interior Design Degree or the Commercial Interior Design Certificate and/or Residential Design Certificate. This certificate requires the completion of 28 units. A minimum grade of C is required for each course.

The Infant and Toddler Teacher Certificate is designed to educate caregivers for employment in programs serving infants and toddlers. It is also recommended for Licensed Family Child Care Providers who care for very young children in their homes. Completion of this certificate will meet the State of California Title 22 requirements to teach infants and toddlers in a licensed facility. In many of the courses taken in this program, students will study, observe and learn utilizing the Child Development Laboratory Instructional Classrooms. Completion of this certificate will meet the requirements for six specialization units for the Title V Child Development Permit at the Master Teacher level. Completion of the AA or AS-T degree (transfer) in Child Development is strongly recommended for those students considering a professional career in the area of Infant Development. A minimum grade of C is required in each course taken. This certificate requires a total of 21 units.

The Industrial Drafting - Level II Certificate is designed for students who have completed Level I and wish to learn advanced technical drafting skills required in the industry. Drafters use software to convert the designs of engineers and others into technical drawings. Drafters proficient in technical drawings and CAD are likely to have better job opportunities. This certificate requires completion of the Industrial Drafting-Level I Certificate plus additional advanced courses for Level II, for a total of 41 units. At least one half of the units toward the certificate must be completed at Fullerton College. A minimum grade of C is required in each course taken.

🗸 Construct advanced 3D prototype models utilizing CAD and CAM software using modern prototyping methods and technologies in conjunction with ASME standards.

🗸 Demonstrate the ability to utilize CAD and CAM software to create advanced 3D models of various manufactured products and their components to create and interpret engineering drawings implementing ASME standards.

The Industrial Drafting - Level I Certificate is designed to prepare students to work as computer-aided drafters/designers in industry and to upgrade the skills of persons presently employed as drafts/designers. This certificate requires a total of 20 units. At least half of the units towards this certificate must be completed at Fullerton College. A grade of C or better is required in each course taken.

The Individual Taxation Certificate is designed for individuals interested in becoming a specialist in individual income tax preparation and become a "Certified Tax Preparer" in the state of California. This program includes everything you need to know to file both federal and California taxes for individuals and sole-proprietor businesses. The income tax course will not only fulfill the 60-hour requirement to become a Certified Tax Preparer, but it will also provide a strong foundation of knowledge in tax preparation. A minimum grade of C is required in each course taken. This certificate requires 17-20 units.

🗸 Demonstrate the ability to identify tax-planning opportunities in order to advise clients of appropriate tax-savings strategies.

The Image Consultant Certificate Program prepares students for a career as a professional wardrobe and color consultant. This certificate requires completion of 32-35 units of which 28 units are in required courses and 4-7 units must be chosen from the restricted electives.

🗸 Create and apply practices used to promote fashion apparel and communicate those results through visuals and/or language.

🗸 Create an image consultant portfolio with mock customers before and after photos to show major retailers and image consulting firms.

The Illustration Certificate Program is designed to emphasize strategies and skill development in order to facilitate the student's portfolio presentation, which may be appropriate for a variety of careers in the Commercial Arts field, including editorial and advertising illustration, concept design and illustration for products, conceptual art for the game and entertainment industry, and illustration of the toy and theme park industries. This certificate requires a total of 33-36 units. A grade of C or better is required for each course taken.

The Certificate in Teaching Reading to Adults (TRA Certificate) provides professional preparation and training in the theory and practice of teaching reading to adults. A combination of coursework in reading theory and pedagogy with teaching and/or tutoring experience provides the competencies and skills necessary to teach reading to adults. The program is designed for graduate candidates who expect to teach in community college or adult education settings.

The Global Business and Entrepreneurship Certificate is designed to provide students with a general overview of four areas of business including management, marketing, international, and entrepreneurship. In business today, knowledge of how functional areas work together is deemed critical by employers. It is no longer sufficient to understand only one part of how a business operates. This certificate provides students with a well-rounded overview of the concepts, techniques, and technologies required to succeed in today’s global and entrepreneurial business environments.

The associate degree and certificate in international business are designed to provide students and business practitioners, including those already involved in International Business, with practical “hands-on” exposure to the world of international business. Classes focus on businesses that import and export. Students learn the fundamentals of international business, culture, marketing, finance, law and logistics. Different countries and cultures are explored. Specialized topic areas (for example, marketing, financing, law and logistics) are a sequence of short classes that should be taken in order. The program prepares students to take the NASBITE Certified Global Business (CGBP) Credential Exam
