The Certificate in Energy is designed to prepare undergraduate accounting, finance, and global supply chain majors for careers in the energy industry. Students will take four courses related to the energy industry and upon graduation will receive a Certificate in Energy in addition to the B.B.A. degree in their major. Students will be required to complete all lower-division business core courses and have a minimum 3.00 GPA to enroll in ENCO 3301. Courses may be taken in any order as long as all prerequisites are met.

Required Courses: ENCO 3301, ENCO 3365, ENCO 4344, and ENCO 4375.

The Certificate in Energy Management/Landman is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to engage in Landman/Energy Management activities in the workplace.  The certificate will provide students with an overview of the information they would encounter if they went on to earn the Energy Management/Landman Concentration in the BBA, which more fully prepares a person for a successful career in the growing energy industry.

Recognized throughout the industry as indicators of competency, proficiency and professionalism, AAPL offers three certifications proven to enhance a member's credibility in the industry and to increase earning potential for landmen. Recent compensation survey results indicate certified individuals earn more than those without certification.

Mt. San Antonio College maintains a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved Aircraft Dispatcher (AD) Program. This program prepares students to enter employment as certified aircraft dispatchers in the airline industry, air-medical industry, corporate aircraft operators, and aviation weather service companies. Completion of this program leads to a Certificate. Successful completion of this program enables students to take the FAA written, oral, and practical tests for the FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate.

The Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) program prepares students for careers in the rapidly growing area of unmanned aircraft systems, including piloting, mission planning, risk management, sensing operations, data collection and analysis, and other related skills. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 107 remote pilot operator certification is not required for graduation but it is desirable for career advancement. Through coursework, simulation, and flight training students may achieve the FAA remote pilot operator certificate simultaneously with the A.S. Degree.

The digital photography certificate program is an intensive course of study focused on providing the student with a broad base of technical skills with additional emphasis on visual communication. Career positions include production printer, a studio photographer ​and freelance photographer.

Program Learning Outcomes:

- Demonstrate visual literacy, including competency in the nonverbal languages of art and design.

- Demonstrate competency in critical analysis and verbal and written responses to visual phenomena.

- Possess the aesthetic knowledge and technical skills necessary in digital photography, including wedding, Quinceañera and commercial, to begin a career as a production printer, studio photographer or freelance photographer.

​​Santa Ana College presents a comprehensive ceramic program in which traditional and contemporary ceramic approaches are encouraged. Equal attention is placed on wheel throwing and hand building. Basic to intermediate courses focus on fundamental ceramic techniques and processes, while developing art-related concepts and creative identity. Advanced-level courses address individual portfolio development, preparing for a studio practice and transfer opportunities. Additional attention is placed on clay and glaze theory, surface and transfer techniques, mixed-media fabrication, kiln firing and presenting work for applications and gallery review. With 26 wheels, a facility for slip-casting and mold-making, a fully stocked glaze lab, a spray booth and blast cabinet, clay mixers, gas kilns, electric kilns, raku, soda firing and a test kiln, our studio environment is exciting and fully equipped.​​​​

- Students will demonstrate visual literacy, including competency in the non-verbal languages of art and design.

- Students will demonstrate competency in critical analysis and verbal and written responses to visual phenomena.

- Students will possess the aesthetic knowledge and technical skills (including throwing, hand building and non-traditional media) necessary to become freelance artist/craftsman who creates hand-crafted ceramics.

The certificate program in crafts offers courses that provide the aesthetic, technical knowledge and special skills necessary to design and produce hand-crafted objects. Whether the interest is in exhibiting crafts as an art form or producing work with more commercial applications, the program provides for study in two areas, jewelry/crafts and glass/crafts. This program is primarily designed to prepare art students as freelance artists/ craftsmen.

✓ Acquire the aesthetic knowledge and technical skills (including stone-setting and enameling) necessary to become a freelance artist/ craftsman who creates hand-crafted jewelry

The certificate program includes coursework to help prepare students for CAD use in industry. Students who complete this program will have the necessary skills to be employed in industry and in a variety of positions. Current engineers will find the program helpful for skill building. Technicians will use this program to strengthen their skill set and technical communication skills.

- Develop a solid model from concept to physical object through the use of CAD and CAM tools.

The certificate program includes coursework to help prepare students for CAD use in the aerospace industry. Students who complete this program will have the necessary skills to be employed in industry and in a variety of positions. Current engineers will find the program helpful for skill building. Technicians will use this program to strengthen their skill set and technical communication skills.
