Data science is one of the fastest-growing fields of this decade. The amount of data created each day has surged thanks to the ubiquitous storage of everything from health records to the millions of actions taken on websites and mobile devices. Being able to make sense of all this data — and thus drive intelligent, outcomes-focused decisions — is an immensely important skill, and one that is at the heart of being a data scientist. Learning data science is one of the best career investments you can make. In fact, according to LinkedIn, statistical analysis and data mining were two of the most sought-after skills recruiters looked for last year.

Springboard School of Data Science Career Track is our most intensive course to date, with a 500+ hour curriculum designed around three portfolio-worthy capstone projects. Data Analytics Career Track

Springboard

San Francisco, CA

The role of the data analyst is changing. In the past, possessing the right technical skills was enough to flourish in this job. But today, employers increasingly are looking for analysts who have both the technical qualifications and the business acumen needed to effectively problem-solve and communicate insights. That’s why we—in partnership with Microsoft—have launched the Data Analytics Career Track. We offer a unique approach to an analytics curriculum. Yes, technical skills are very important, and we’ll make sure you master those: fundamental business statistics concepts; analytics and visualization tools including Excel, SQL, Python, Microsoft Power BI, and Tableau; plus advanced analysis techniques. But we will also teach you the strategic thinking required to become a successful analyst.

This is an area hiring managers have told us most job seekers lack, so we’ve dedicated 50% of our curriculum to this critical training. Through these lessons, built with experts from McKinsey, Bain, and Wharton, you’ll learn how to break down complex problems so you can accurately test them, then structure your analysis around a central theme and present tangible business insights to key stakeholders. Two capstone projects will allow you to bring all of your skills together as you choose your own data set, conduct end-to-end analysis, synthesize insights in slide deck format, and share your findings. These projects will be the center of a powerful portfolio that will showcase your abilities to hiring managers.
