The program is offered only at the Indian Valley Campus. The Certificate of Achievement options require a minimum of two semesters to complete. Students may take courses on a part-time basis.

CCSF’s English major offers a wide variety of language, literature, and writing courses--GE transferable units--to serve students with diverse goals, including transfer to UC, CSU, or other four-year colleges. English majors will be able to complete most or all of their lower division preparation at CCSF before they transfer but should see a counselor confirm their program of study. By taking units of Core Reading and Composition Courses, students will learn techniques to produce clear, precise prose by integrating writing, reading, and research. The Welding Technology program provides students with training in oxy-acetylene cutting, AC/DC shielded metal arc welding, gouging, semi-automatic gas metal arc welding, flux core welding and tungsten inert gas welding.
