The Industry Exam Preparation Certificate of Completion is a noncredit certificate designed to support the attainment of an industry standard certificate such as a Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) or Intuit QuickBooks Certified User (QBCU). Students will complete real-world simulated projects using testing software in one selected core area such as: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, or Intuit QuickBooks. Students will analyze real-world business problems and then apply appropriate solutions using training and testing software. Once credentialed, students will document their industry certification in professional online platforms and/or in their resume. Upon successful certification students will be employable as administrative support and as administrative support supervisors or managers. May be offered in distance-learning format.
