The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Certificate of Achievement-Advanced is available to students who have an associate or higher degree from an accredited U.S. institution or the evaluated equivalent from the foreign study. The Certificate of Achievement-Advanced is a 15-month course of study (including one summer) that prepares students for a career as an MLT through classroom study and supervised clinical training. The MLT program provides students with a quality education that complies with the established standards and guidelines of an accredited laboratory training program. Graduates of the certificate program are eligible to sit for a state-approved national MLT certification examination.
