The Entry Level Construction and Energy Management Skills Certificate of Achievement is for students who want to secure entry-level jobs in the construction industry and/or an apprenticeship. This certificate focuses on safety, tool operation, measurement, layout, electrical, plumbing, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC). Students will learn the fundamentals of construction so they have a solid foundation to continue in the construction and energy management programs and/or qualify for an apprenticeship. A student will be prepared for an entry-level position in residential construction such as framer, form worker, roofer, solar installer, insulation technician, and window/door installer.

The Construction Project Management Certificate of Achievement is designed for students that want to pursue management-level careers in the construction industry. Students will learn the business and operational methods that are unique to modern construction such as estimating, planning and scheduling, business practices, and technical writing. This certificate provides the knowledge and skills necessary to seek higher management positions, such as but not limited to, foreman, superintendent, scheduler, estimator, and project manager. This multifaceted program focuses on the technical, managerial, and communications skills that are required to be a successful project manager.

The Basic Construction Certificate of Completion is a noncredit certificate designed to provide fundamental carpentry skills necessary to perform basic construction tasks. Topics in this program include: construction theory, method, and approach, as well as safe operation of hand and power tools. The combination of lecture and lab provides students opportunities to learn hands-on and practice skills while completing several build projects over the semester. These projects incorporate framing, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Career building services are provided so students may prepare their resume, cover letters, and applications for internships, apprenticeships, or job placement. Students will be qualified to apply for basic general repair and construction technician jobs. May be offered in a distance learning format.

The Basic Office Skills II Certificate of Completion is a noncredit certificate designed to cover the fundamental use of the PC and the Windows operating system and introduce solving business problems using spreadsheet software, Excel or Google sheets. Activities cover file management, simple troubleshooting, running and installing programs, customizing the desktop, and using Windows accessory programs such as WordPad and Paint, efficient and accurate data entry, basic functions and formulas, mixed operations, percentages, sorting, formatting, and critical assessment of spreadsheets. Students will be able to apply for clerical jobs such as office clerk, word processing typist, data entry or office technician. May be offered in a distance-learning format.

Students will set-up and manage their own online accounts for various platforms. Students will be able to apply for entry level clerical jobs in data entry and reception.

The Accessible Design and Creation Certificate of Completion is a noncredit certificate designed to provide students with a general overview of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles, laws about accessibility, and training in accessible document and media creation and remediation. The certificate introduces methods of design that leverage engagement, increase inclusivity, open learning gateways, and comply with accessibility laws. Students will create, assess, evaluate, and remediate digital documents and media using UDL principles, accessibility guidelines, and best practices. May be offered in a distance-learning format.

The Cybersecurity Competitions III Certificate of Completion is a noncredit certificate designed to provide an opportunity for students to gain skills and knowledge needed to enter into transfer level cybersecurity courses. The certificate covers topics in the major areas of containerization, orchestration, security programing, reverse engineering and the related ethical and legal issues of reverse engineering. High school and community college students participate in local, regional and national cybersecurity competitions for hands-on practice with realistic business scenarios. Students can continue on to pursue a cybersecurity career pathway that will prepare them for employment opportunities as computer user support specialists, computer network support specialists, and computer systems analysts/information security analysts.

The certificate prepares high school and community college students to participate in local, regional and national cybersecurity competitions.

The certificate covers topics in the major areas of web basics, legal and ethical issues of web application exploitation, and penetration testing, cybersecurity programming, log management, and system administration.  Students can continue on to pursue cybersecurity career pathways preparing them for employment opportunities as computer user support specialists, computer network support specialists, and computer systems analysts/information security analysts.

The Cybersecurity Certificate of Achievement is designed for students who want to get started in the field of cybersecurity. The required courses introduce cyber defense and teach students about the offensive and defensive measures that protect an organization's data and systems. Students start by learning an overview of networking, computer hardware, and operating systems then go deeper with ethical hacking and forensics. The certificate prepares students to get the CompTIA Security+ and the International Council of E-Commerce Consultants (EC-Council) Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and the Computer Hacking Forensics Investigator (CHFI) certifications.

Upon completion, students will be prepared for an entry-level job as a cybersecurity analyst or advancement in jobs as computer support specialists and/or computer network support specialists. May be offered in a distance-learning environment.
