Public Safety Reports, Evidence, and Testimony Certificate of Completion is a noncredit certificate designed to prepare the student to write professional investigative reports and introduces the legal and procedural fundamentals of evidence and testimony. Topics covered will include the rules and importance of narrative writing for investigative reports, investigative note taking, quality narrative drafting of investigative reports, authentication of evidence, chain of custody, exclusionary rule, expert testimony, and hearsay. Upon completion students will be more prepared for working with the public in roles in emergency response, health and safety, and community policing.  May be offered in distance-learning format.

The Sustainable Construction and Blueprint Reading Certificate of Completion is a noncredit certificate designed to cover the analysis and interpretation of construction documents and sustainable practices in the construction industry. Topics cover blueprint reading and analysis and introduction of sustainable building methods and applications, including relationships between the natural and built environment. Both residential and commercial construction sectors are included. Students will be qualified to apply for general repair, plans reader and managerial level construction jobs. Students will be prepared to transition into the Construction and Energy Management credit courses with basic knowledge of construction. May be offered in a distance-learning format.

It provides students, prospective employers, and others with documented evidence of persistence and accomplishment in English oral communication.

The Entry Level Construction Skills Certificate of Completion is a noncredit certificate designed to cover the phases of construction, planning, and permitting processes for residential construction. Topics include analysis of contract documents, safety, tools, equipment, material selection and use, foundations, framing, roofing, insulation, drywall, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, interior and exterior carpentry, finishes, introduces estimating, planning, scheduling, and project management. The combination of lecture and lab provides students opportunities to learn hands-on and practice skills while completing several build projects over the semester. Students will be qualified to apply for general repair and entry-level managerial construction jobs.  May be offered in a distance-learning format.
