The Associate in Arts in Theatre Arts for Transfer (AA-T) prepares students to move into a curriculum at a four-year institution leading to a baccalaureate degree in theatre arts which can lead to careers in teaching, design, technical theatre, theatre management, professional performance, stage direction, stage management, and related areas. Completion of the AA-T degree also provides guaranteed admission to the CSU system, although does not guarantee admission to a specific campus or major. Upon completion of the AA-T in Theatre Arts, students will understand and be able to demonstrate the fundamental performance and technical production processes for Theatre Arts, demonstrate knowledge of the historical and cultural dimensions of theatre, and understand the interaction between script, actor, and audience and the areas of scenery, lighting, sound, and costume.

The Associate of Science degree in General Management is designed to prepare students for various management positions in business, government, and public organizations; to aid existing managers in upgrading their skills; and to assist employees for promotion to management/supervision positions.

The Associate of Science degree in General Electrician provides instruction for those seeking a career as an electrician. This meets the state requirements as an electrician trainee program.

Women's Studies is a liberal  arts major offering interdisciplinary perspectives on the importance of gender and sexualities in relation to issues such as race, class, ethnicity, nationality, religion, age, (dis)ability, labor, multiculturalism, globalization, and the environment. Utilizing a variety of theoretical and methodological approaches in their study of the intersections of gender and sexuality with multiple identities, students are empowered to make theoretically informed personal, social, cultural, and institutional changes. Completion of the associate of arts degree prepares students to move into a curriculum at a four-year institution leading to a baccalaureate degree.

The Associate of Science degree in Gemology provides technical and practical theory and knowledge in diamonds and colored stones including laboratory grading, identification and evaluation of gems. Employment opportunities upon completion of this program: jewelry appraiser, diamond and colored stones sales, jewelry buyer, jewelry wholesaler and laboratory gemologist.

The Associate in Arts Degree in Ethnic Studies is designed to provide students with a comparative and interdisciplinary examination of the unique histories, cultures, and experiences of African Americans, Asian and Pacific Islander Americans, Latino/x Americans, and Native Americans in the United States. Students will assess their own individual cultural identity/ies, build consciousness about race and ethnic relations in America, and begin to formulate and implement strategies that will challenge multiple and intersecting forms of oppression. The major prepares students to work collaboratively with diverse populations given its emphasis on group-centered leadership and communication skills, as well as, critical thinking and praxis.  Completion of the associates of arts degree facilitates a pathway to move into a four-year institution leading to baccalaureate degree.

Upon completion of the AA-T in Studio Arts, students will be able to recognize specific styles of art, apply vocabulary pertinent to the discussion of art both in and out of the classroom, and demonstrate an understanding of the technical processes of various art media by developing an art portfolio that demonstrates a broad knowledge of subject matter. Furthermore, students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the principles of design and the elements of art, as well as identify relationships between art and society in which it is created, and apply developed criteria for viewing and judging art.

The Architecture Associate in Science Degree is designed to develop skills necessary to help facilitate transfer to a university for a Bachelor of Architecture Degree (B.Arch.) The program contains drawing, design and computer drafting courses. Placement at the university is based on a portfolio review of work which demonstrates competence in key areas of architectural design. The curriculum is also designed to prepare students for employment in the architectural profession. This degree requires a total of 35-37 units in the major in addition to other graduation requirements.

The Advertising and Graphic Design Associate in Arts Degree  is designed for students seeking employment in the advertising and graphic design industry. Students are guided through presentation and portfolio creation process throughout the program. This program is not designed to transfer to a UC or CSU institution, but may transfer to a private four year school of art with specialized focus upon Advertising and Graphic Arts. This degree requires a total of 18 units in the major, in addition to other graduation requirements.
