The program courses are designed to enable the student to reach his/her professional goals with the knowledge and skills in real estate to meet the current requirements in the field.

This program is designed to help English Language Learners develop the English skills necessary to for the U.S. citizenship interview. The courses focus on developing students' language skills and understanding of American history, laws, government, and civic expectations.

Program Outcomes

✓ Students will show an increased ability to apply English pronunciation rules, active listening techniques and knowledge of non-verbal cues in one-on-one conversations.

✓ Students will demonstrate a basic understanding of U.S. history, government, and geography.

This is an overall comprehensive program that will provide the student with the requirements needed to become a State of California Real Estate Broker. The program courses are designed to enable the student to reach his/her course requirements to qualify for the real estate broker license exam. These courses also provide the basic background and information needed as a future employer of sales people in real estate.

The courses offered to obtain this award will give the students the basic skills needed to obtain an entry-level Process Technician position within a variety of industrial fields. Process technology involves every aspect of chemical processing: extracting and refining chemicals such as oil and natural gas, refining and monitoring them.

This program is designed to help non-native speakers of English with children in the K-12 school system become more effective advocates for their children’s academic success. The courses in this program provide direct instruction of English language including reading, writing, listening and speaking skills as well as information about various programs, services, organizations, expectations, and procedures common in the K-12 school system. This program is recommended for students with at least low intermediate English language skills.

The courses offered to obtain this certificate will give the students the basic skills needed to obtain an entry level Processing Technician position within a variety of industrial fields. This program is designed for adult English language learners seeking to transition to college-level credit coursework. The Listening/ Speaking course and the Reading/ Writing course may be taken in either order.

✓ Students will demonstrate the English proficiency in reading and writing needed to succeed in college-level credit courses.

✓ Students will demonstrate knowledge of the postsecondary educational system in the U.S.

This program is designed for English language learners with at least an intermediate English proficiency level wanting to develop the English skills necessary to obtain and/ or advance their possibilities in the American workplace. The courses will focus on developing students' language skills, knowledge of the American workplace, post-secondary opportunities to advance in the workplace, and cross-cultural expectations of U.S. working environments.

✓ Students will demonstrate knowledge of the American cultural workplace expectations.
