This certificate is designed for students who intend to complete university general education requirements prior to transfer to a California State University (CSU) campus. Completion of the California State University General Education โ Breadth (CSU GE-B) will permit a student to transfer from a Solano Community College to a CSU campus generally without the need, after transfer, to take additional lower-division, general education courses to satisfy campus general education requirements.
A Certificate of Achievement can be obtained by completing a minimum of 39-units from the California State University General Education Breadth (CSU GE) Pattern, CSU Graduation Requirement, and SCC Graduation Requirement. All courses for this certificate must be completed with a minimum grade of C or a P if taken on a Pass/No Pass basis. Consult with a counselor for more information on completing this certificate.
